The Roles & Permissions system in V.connct manages how users interact within a live meeting, ensuring a structured and controlled environment. This guide breaks down the key function roles and their associated permissions.

Roles Defined

1. Host


Definition: The Host is who initiates the meeting and holds the highest level of control and authority. They are the primary organizer and administrators of the entire session.

Note: There can only be one Host per meeting.

2. Moderator


Definition: A Moderator is a key support role, empowered with a wide range of meeting controls. They work to assist the Host in managing the meeting flow and participants, but cannot demote or override the Host.

Note: You can have multiple Moderators in a meeting.

3. Presenter


Definition: A Presenter is a designated participant focused on sharing content and information with the audience, such as sharing the screen, file, and controlling the whiteboard.

Note: You can have multiple Presenters in a meeting.

4. Attendee


Definition: An Attendee is the default participant role in a V.connct meeting. Their primary purpose is to view and listen to the meeting content and engage passively.

Note: You can have multiple Attendees in a meeting.
