The Meeting Settings feature allows hosts and moderators to control participant permissions and adjust meeting behavior in real time. From locking microphones to managing chat visibility, this tool ensures a smooth and secure meeting experience.

To manage meeting’s settings follow these steps:

1) Click on the settings icon located at the bottom left of the screen.

In the new tab, you can turn the following on or off:


1) Lock Microphone: Enable or disable the participant’s ability to use their microphone.


2) Lock Sharing Camera: Allow the participant to share their video.


3) Lock Viewing Other Cameras: Permit the user to see other participants’ video streams.


4) Lock Seeing Other Participants: Controls whether the user can see who else is in the meeting.


5) Lock Changing Display Name: Enables the user to edit their display name during the session.


6) Lock Raising Hand: Lets the participant raise their hand to request to speak or interact.


7) Lock Reactions/Emojis: Grants the user the ability to use emoji reactions during the meeting.


8) Lock Viewing Chat: Gives the user access to view the public chat panel.


9) Lock Sending Chat Messages: Enables the participant to send messages in the group chat.


10) Lock Private Chat Messages: Allows the user to send and receive private messages with other attendees or moderators.


11) Lock Viewing Shared Notepad: Grants permission to view collaborative notes during the meeting.


12) Lock Editing Shared Notepad: Lets the user actively write or edit within the shared notepad.


13) Lock Drawing on Whiteboard: Enables the participant to draw on the shared whiteboard.


14) Lock Screen Sharing: Grants the ability to share their screen with others in the meeting.


15) Lock Sending Files: Lets the participant upload and share files within the meeting.
Note: To manage a user's permissions individually, click on the three dots beside the user’s name and click on “manage permissions”
